Honestly I hope we end up in a world where "big data" doesn't have a "victor", that sounds like the end state of the matrix, only its either google or facebook that won...

A lot of it is needlessly dirty. Do people really need to make excel spreadsheets with data scattered all over the place? Why does the government use a different data format for every agency?
