They get to admit "no guilt" and forfeit profits, avoiding prosecution. Have no idea why this was downvoted. The suspect didn't trade securities. SEC doesn't have jurisdiction. The curiosity–to me as a layman–is that this is being prosecuted by the DoJ versus under the UCMJ.
