"TB" = Tuberculosis.

Reading his little abbreviations, it's like some kind of new language or something... ;)

Interesting fact: that's still a phrase very much in-use in certain parts of the world (South America and the Middle East come to mind) in everyday layman talk.

Portuguese: 'Se Deus quiser' == 'If God wills' ... very common in Brazil.

Even more common: 'Oxala' (oh-shah-LAH) taken from Arabic 'in sha lah' meaning the same thing.
