According to the article they serve Apple Retail, so every time the Genius messes around with the iPad for 10 minutes to check me in just so I can drop my phone off for a new battery, that’s a consumer dealing with IS&T.
This is wrong and like saying "people that eat sausage don't interact with the contractor at the sausage factory hiring mechanics that don't know any better when fixing the machines and regularly spill machine oil into the meat". Dealing with shit that rolls downhill is a form of interaction.
No, it's right in the context of the comment I was replying to, which had customers interacting with IS&T webpages. Internal apps are decidedly mediocre for the employees who use them but there are many more impactful things that would affect customers than that.
