Not useful - always has outdated versions, the "package directory" is just JSON files that somebody needs to keep up-to-date with upstream releases. I've tried it twice, only because it comes from a big company, but I always go back to Aqua [0], which is the most secure and flexible package management system, mostly relying on GitHub releases, but also supporting Rust crates, Go projects, and even Python packages. Even Mise [1] supports its ecosystem, but Aqua is better. For example, the entire ecosystem, authored by Shunsuke Suzuki [2], now uses his ghtkn [3], which doesn't rely on permanent or long-lived GitHub auth. His ecosystem is marvelous, and he keeps releasing quality new projects constantly [4].

This is nothing new as there's even a term for it - "hypnopedia." People used this widely to learn new languages in the past, but I'm not sure I've seen evidence about its effectiveness.

User 2882 here. What I know is that once a mass exodus occurs from service A to service B, the issues of service A that led people to leave it for service B will start to appear in service B as well.

Depends on the reason for the exodus. This time it was solely the degradation of the service, but every other post I’ve seen about leaving GitHub had ideological reasons related to Microsoft’s behaviour. It seems unlikely CodeBerg will start cooperating with ICE.

Journos love bashing AI, knowing they will be replaced by it within months to a couple of years.

OK sam

This "evidence" is highly questionable. There's other evidence, i.e., that taking aspirin with DGL or vitamin C does not damage the stomach lining, have led to new formulations decades ago. In fact, high doses of aspirin have been sold in Europe combined with vitamin C for as long as I remember - Aspirin C by Bayer and Upsarin C by UPSA. There's other evidence, too, that aspirin protects against cancer.

My understanding is the bleeding risk associated with aspirin can be addressed by taking Vitamin K.

I haven't heard about it, but the combo would have a synergistic effect as they both address different coagulation pathways. I take them together for other reasons - I take vitamin K (K1, and K2 in MK-4 and K2 MK-7 forms) to direct calcium to the bones, not to the tissues, and, of course, anticollagulation. For the latter, I also take Nattokinase, but the main reason I take Aspirin is its protection against cancer.

Sounds like you have additional and better evidence than the USPTF that made the changes in aspirin for primary prevention. They do have a method to give feedback, and based on my experience a person will respond to you personally. I suggest you submit your information to them.

It doesn't, as it doesn't dissolve in the stomach, thanks to its enteric coating.

GoDaddy stole several domains from me. And they've acknowledged it. It was through an Afternic exploit. They still haven't fixed it, even though I've disclosed it. They returned the two domains that were stolen from me, but refused to provide me with a list of other stolen domains, so now I'm trying to find this from renewals, as I have thousands of domain names with them. I do not trust them, so I created a small utility that checks my domain statuses via the API and notifies me if a domain is missing from my portfolio.

> I do not trust them, so I

Why does this sentence end in anything other than "immediately transferred them to another registrar"?

5,000 domain names at $10+/domain... They still give me the best price, plus their domain brokerage service is the best.

It's behind an invite wall with a shady X scheme to repost and comment and get somebody else to steal your invite. But then you will keep posting comments to get new invites.

Why did you remove the source code?

Current drones, without modifications, are vulnerable, but it's cheap and easy to modify them. Plus, this doesn't work in humid weather either. It's another "wonder weapon" that's nothing but hype. I mean, ask an LLM, and it will give you at least several strategies for protecting a drone from any kind of directed energy weapon! Unless it's direct kinetic energy, forget about it!
