Before getting a job in software, I used to buy cars from insurance auctions. Plenty of cars that run and drive end up there for various reason and if you were patient, you could get running and driving cars for $1000 or less (This was 7+ years ago). The catch is that you don't know what you're getting. You either have to have be mechanically inclined or know somebody who is to walk the lot and check the cars out before you bid.
Case and point, I bought a car that was fine when we inspected it, but when they picked it up with the forklift they knocked a hole in the oil pan, and we had to get it towed. $100 for a new oil pan (for the wrong year lol) and I got many years out of it.
If it fits, it's not the wrong year. I once put an exhaust manifold from a 95 Civic into a 98 Civic (replacing its cracked one that was filling the cabin with toxic exhaust fumes). I had gone to a Honda dealer to inquire about a new one; it cost too much, but the guy gave me some free nuts for bolting on a used one before I went on my merry way. Did the work myself. I seem to remember those things have two oxygen sensors that had to be moved from old to new.

No such thing as wrong year nor wrong model, or even wrong brand as long as it works!
Honda in particular lots of parts interchange (at least used to) between Civics and Accords and other models.
I had a fuel pump die on an older BMW on 101 (Silicon Valley near googleplex). Late on a Saturday, could not get the BMW part. Found an Audi fuel pump which was similar enough, installed it on the side of the highway and worked fine. Ran for many years, still going when I sold that car.
Cops showed up to harass us about working on the car on the side of the highway.. Fortunately my friend is a big talker and kept them entertained while I finished the installation and started the car.
This using fork lifts to move cars is crazy. When the car runs why tf do it?! Seen many YT channels show it happening and there is almost always damage.
Ryzen 5000 cpus are extremely cheap right now. I bought a 5900xt (16 cores) to upgrade a server a few weeks ago for ~$250. If you already have DDR4 you could put together a system for pretty cheap if you need it soon.
The downside is that AM4 is basically EOL, so no upgrade path.
I can only hope RISC-V's displacement of ARM at the low end will force them into competing more at the high end in servers / high end consumer hardware.
For an easier change than HTML or SVG, try running them though pngcrush to make the graph images much smaller. Won't give you the lossless vector quality, but you should be able to keep these image files visually indistinguishable at much lower size.
Not defending the default behavior of zed, but it is possible to disable this. Setting `"lsp.<server>.binary.path": <some-path>` will stop zed from trying to install that server.
On my machines, the "languages"/"node" directories for zed are empty and owned by root and the lsp servers are provided by nix. But you could also pin known good versions with npm.
As far as I know Vscode has no equivalent way to do this.
The i5-1135G7 has only 4 cores. Hyperthreading is enabled, so it reports 8 "virtual processors".
